February Pop-Up Walking Meditation

Let's take advantage of this slightly warmer weather and get outside for a surprise walking meditation! In a new location!

Haven't tried walking meditation before? That's okay! All are welcome. Walking meditation is especially great for people who may struggle with strictly seated practices, but it's also great for established meditators. It's one of my favorite practices and I have found it beneficial in a variety of ways, including experiencing that meditative state off the cushion.  If you're like me, you want to find that sort of space throughout the day and the act of walking meditation helps us work toward that end. 

We'll be meeting at Antrim Park at the little deck overlooking the lake. We'll talk about some basic walking meditation instruction and from there, we'll be doing walking around the lake with a pause for some seated/guided meditation.
