April 28th Walking Meditation

Have trouble in sitting meditation? Want to try something new in your practice? Walking meditation could be just the thing.

A little about walking meditation:

Walking meditation is great for people who may struggle with strictly seated practices, but it's also great for established meditators. It's one of my favorite practices and I have found it beneficial in a variety of ways, including experiencing that meditative state off the cushion.  If you're like me, you want to find that sort of space throughout the day and the act of walking meditation helps us work toward that end. It's also a lovely way to spend time outdoors and in community.

This class will include instruction and guided portions, but also allow time for individual experience. We will meet at the observation deck behind the Nature Center on Dripping Rock Trail. The class is weather permitting and you'll get an update if anything changes. Please wear comfortable clothes and plan to be out for about an hour.

Pre-registration is required as classes are kept small. This class is by donation.

Please register ahead of time either through the following link: https://equanimityunlimited.as.me/walking-meditation-highbanks

It's one of my favorite practices and I have found it beneficial in a variety of ways, including experiencing that meditative state off the cushion.  If you're like me, you want to find that sort of space throughout the day and the act of walking meditation helps us work toward that end.

On Sept 30th, join me at Highbanks Park and experience walking meditation with the trees.

We will meet at the observation deck behind the Nature Center on Dripping Rock Trail. This class is weather permitting and you'll get an update if anything changes. Please wear comfortable clothes and plan to be out for about an hour.  Pre-registration is required as classes are kept small. This is a sliding-scale class, but if itoutside of your current means, but you would like to participate, please contact me. No one is turned away from my classes for lack of funds.

Sept 9th Walking Meditation

Have trouble sitting in meditation, but want to experience the benefits? Do you already have a sitting practice, but want to engage in new ways? Maybe you're already familiar with walking meditation, but would like to enjoy being with a group.

THIS CLASS IS FULL. Please join me on Sept 30th!
